Empowering Rural Indian Women with BTC

Our rural women can impact the economic growth of India.

We want to help them do it.

Zebpay is committed to helping women-empowerment NGOs fulfill their goals for rural India. By harnessing the power of natural resources like solar energy, Bitcoin mining can now bring a lifetime of financial freedom and empowerment to our women.

Powering Sustainable Economic Growth

Almost 75% of Indian women work in rural areas.
But less than 10%
of them own land.

We want to change the power
equations in support of our women.

By introducing our solar Bitcoin mining solutions, we provide them an opportunity to become financially independent, to dream bigger, and to provide a better standard of living for their families. While they are keepers of traditional knowledge, they are also key agents for achieving economic, environmental, and social changes necessary for sustainable development
in India.

If we want to be a trillion-dollar economy, we need to achieve high standards towards the welfare of our rural women in order to shift our focus to the country’s development. Solar mining of Bitcoins is our answer in that direction.

How it

Works?

The world is gradually recognising bitcoin as the digital currency of the future. According to the Blockchain Council, the top 10 countries that have embraced blockchain technology are

Australia, China, Japan, United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Malta, Switzerland, the USA, Estonia, and the UK.

On April 05, 2018, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) took a hard decision to ban banks and any regulated financial institutions from “dealing with or settling virtual currencies.” The decision was challenged, and in 2020, the supreme court ruled against the ban, citing that it violated constitutional rights under Article 19(1)(g).

India may currently see the uncertainty of its regulation, but with many countries making confident strides in cryptocurrency, sooner or later the country will have to keep up.

The way forward is to harness sustainable renewable resources that eliminate our carbon blueprint, tailor a regulatory framework, and protect the interest of investors.  Zebpay’s approach considers these aspects in order to make it work effectively.

Step 1

Step 1

Tie-up with NGOs

NGOs for Indian women are working relentlessly for women’s empowerment, especially in rural areas. They advocate for economic, social, and legal rights for women, But unfortunately, the pandemic has made their endeavours more challenging. We want to strengthen the work of the NGOs through collaborative efforts. By leveraging their experience of working with rural women, our goal is to introduce the concept of solar bitcoin mining to rural women, demonstrate its income potential, and assist with the required infrastructure setup.

Step 2

Step 2

Install solar panels

We help to set up the appropriate number of solar panels to mine bitcoins using solar energy profitably. Residential solar power that produces 200-450 Watts per hour will be put in place along with a meter to measure energy consumption. For mining operations to continue without daylight, a battery for solar storage is included along with a charge controller to regulate the power flow

Step 3

Step 3

Install bitcoin mining components

Next, an ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) miner, built specifically for the purpose of mining cryptocurrency, is connected to a desktop and solar panels. This bitcoin miner performs complex calculations known as hashes. The more hashes performed per time unit, the more likely a miner will earn bitcoins. To enhance productivity, miners join a mining pool, where multiple miners combine their mining efforts to increase the chances of earning bitcoins.

Step 4

Step 4

Receive lifetime income

The earned Bitcoins are directed to a wallet address ready to be claimed at any point in time. Through a simple verification process, they get authenticated as “Green Bitcoins”, confirming they were earned through solar power.

It’s the easiest way to earn an income for a lifetime

Let's get

Started

India has a massive opportunity to significantly impact the growth and development of the country through blockchain technologies. Through advancements made by other nations, India can study their approach and adopt best practices to formulate regulatory laws that protect the interest of all parties involved.

Solar panels provide inexpensive power, eliminating the need to depend on large quantities of electricity to power rigs. Organisations like Tesla see the inefficiencies in the current mining practices and have clearly indicated that solar-powered bitcoin mining is the next step forward.
