For us at ZebPay, the joy of Diwali comes from giving back to the community. This year, we plan to support Bhumi, an NGO which aims at building a better future by providing education to those without access to it.
Volunteers at Bhumi educate and mentor children from orphanages, slums and village communities across the country. By building an environment where both students and their teachers can learn from one another, Bhumi drives change towards a more equal and socially conscious society.
How can you help? Just like and share and reply to the tweet or LinkedIn post below. Every time you do, we’ll add 100, 200, or 300 satoshi to our total donation. Please spread the word to as many people as you can so we can make a big donation!
So every time you like, comment and share our #ZebPayDiwali posts; we’ll donate satoshi (or the rupee equivalent) to support Bhumi in their mission to provide comprehensive education to over 25,000 children across India.
- Every like = 100 satoshi
- Every comment = 200 satoshi
- Every share = 300 satoshi
Time is precious. Even more precious than Bitcoin. And for less than a minute of your time, we could pledge more than 600 satoshi on your behalf. 300 satoshi from a share, 200 from a comment and 100 from a like. Quick maths!
Instead of just making a donation, we want our members to join us in the fun of giving.
We’re doing one more thing differently this Diwali.
We’ve also changed our Diwali gifts to employees. Instead of gold or silver coins, sweets, or cash, we’re giving every Z Team member three cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ether and BAT—Rs 1001 worth of each.
We’re starting a new tradition. Perhaps you’ll want to start one, too, and give Bitcoin as a Diwali gift.
After all, Bitcoin is built on universal values of honesty, equality, and inclusion. It is designed to fight poverty and increase prosperity for everyone. What could be more auspicious for Diwali?
From our family to yours, we wish you a very happy Diwali!
