1) Faster, lighter version of the Bitcoin, created for daily spending.
2) Litecoin (LTC or Ł) is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency released under the MIT/X11 license. Litecoin was invented by Charlie Lee in October 2011. It is a global decentralized currency based on blockchain technology and an open source software project.
