Yes. If you don’t make any trade in a month, ZebPay charges an inactivity fee of 0.0001 BTC or its equivalent in other crypto assets and/or INR. You can avoid this fee in two ways, by making at least one trade or by using ZebPay’s Earn feature during a month.

As one of India’s oldest crypto asset companies, ZebPay has performed and helped law enforcement with hundreds of anti-money laundering and fraud investigations. In some cases we created our own protocols for compliance and integrity and are ready to share them with governments and other companies.

All of these security measures have a cost. When you trade, your trading fees help pay for that security. That’s why we only charge the membership fee to inactive accounts with no trading activity for the month.

Maker: Varies as per your Fees Tier ( Example: Regular, VIP1, etc):
Also called a limit order. If you place an order for a price some distance away from the current market price, your order goes on the order book and waits to be filled. When you place an order onto the order book, you are called a maker because you are making a new trading opportunity on the exchange’s order book. You are also said to be adding liquidity to the market.

Taker: Varies as per your Fees Tier ( Example: Regular, VIP1, etc):
Also called a market order. When you place an order to buy or sell at the current market price your order will be immediately filled by the next available counterparty (trader taking the opposite side of your trade). By matching an order that is already on the order book, you are taking that order off the book. That’s why you are called a taker. You are taking that particular trade opportunity off the order book so no one else can match that order. You are said to be removing liquidity from the market.

ZebPay offers tiered KYC levels. Regular KYC (KYC Level 1) is free of charge and is required to start trading. Enhanced KYC is a paid upgrade (₹590 including GST) required when you need to increase your withdrawal limits beyond your current level, or when your transaction threshold for the current level has been crossed. The Enhanced KYC fee is deducted directly from your ZebPay wallet balance once your submitted documents are approved.

Whitelisting an address allows you to do high-volume transactions to that particular address. This adds an additional layer of security. To know how to whitelist the address, please click here.

There are minimum and maximum limits per transaction you can trade for, on Exchange.

A crypto withdrawal fee is charged when you transfer your coins/tokens from your wallet to other addresses. You can also check the fee while sending coins on the app/web.

This tab shows the coins/tokens available for trading on ZebPay. It also shows the status of listing, trading, and deposit/withdrawal.

Regular users on ZebPay are charged a Maker/Taker fee of 0.45% per transaction, for transactions initiated on the Exchange feature. A fee of 0.5% onwards applies to Quick Trade orders. All fees are exclusive of 1% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), which is applicable on all crypto transactions as per government regulations effective 1st July 2022. (The mentioned fees are exclusive of GST.)

Enhanced KYC on ZebPay costs ₹500 plus 18% GST, amounting to ₹590 in total. This fee is deducted directly from your ZebPay wallet balance once your submitted documents are approved. Regular KYC remains free of charge. Enhanced KYC is required when you wish to increase your withdrawal limits to a higher level or when your transaction threshold for the current KYC level has been crossed.

As per government regulations effective 1st July 2022, a 1% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) is applicable on all crypto transactions on ZebPay, including Spot and Quick Trade. In exceptional cases, this can extend to 5%. The TDS deducted from your transactions can be claimed as a credit when filing your Income Tax Return (ITR).

ZebPay charges a flat fee of ₹15 for all INR (fiat) withdrawals, regardless of the withdrawal amount. Fiat withdrawals can take up to 3 working days to be credited to your registered bank account.
