This game stands out as an Axie can only be bred seven times to control their population. The breeding control creates scarcity and increases their value in the future. Players can earn Smooth Love Potion (SLP) in the game by defeating opponents and completing quests. SLP can be sold in the marketplace for real-world value or used to breed Axies which can also be sold for real-world value. The total circulating supply of AXS is 270 million coins, out of which 61 million coins are in circulation as of March 2022. Based on the current release schedule, 100% of AXS tokens will be circulating by early 2026.

Axie Infinity Network is launched on the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum’s proof-of-work consensus mechanism secures it.
