Starting this Wednesday, you’ll be able to trade WazirX’s WRX token right here on ZebPay! Our goal has always been to list tokens that have a mission we believe in. We don’t list short-term trading, but long-term value. It’s why we listed BNB less than a year ago, and why we’re listing WRX now.
About WRX
Built on the Binance Smart Chain, WRX is WazirX’s native token, designed to be the foundation of the entire WazirX ecosystem. It was initially created with the goal of involving the community in the development of WazirX and rewarding them for their contributions.
At first, WazirX users could only earn WRX tokens through the exchange’s registration and referral incentive program. These early adopters gained from the coin’s rising use and demand, as only 1 billion WRX coins will ever be produced. Owning these tokens in itself entitles you to fee reductions and other perks within the WazirX ecosystem, too.
Since it is a utility token, WRX and the WazirX exchange are closely intertwined. As WazirX grows its user base, the demand for its coins will increase, as there is a greater demand for for the same limited supply.
This limited supply means that like Bitcoin, the value of WRX will rise with the rise in its demand. A worthwhile investment, we say.
